Notes from Podiatry Conference
Thank you to all who came and had a look at PAT at the conference. A very positive response. We have taken all the suggestions for improvements fo the program. Here are a few that will be added over the next few weeks.

  1. A remote version
This will allow you to syncronise all your data on your laptop. When you return you will be able to update the database information that has been modified/updated.
  2. A slim version
A cut down version of the remote laptop. This will be designed for the netbook laptops.
  3. Short cuts
Easy design of shortcuts while you are entering notes into the notepad area.
Shortcut in the invoice area to enter common items. e.g. Shot Consultation
  4. Invoice Information
Allow you to select eith All payments or payments via Cash, Eftpos, Cheque etc.
  5. Reminders
Reminders can be either printed or Emailed. If an Email address is found on the patient then you can Email and or print the reminder.
  6. Letters.
Letters to doctors will be able to be printed or emailed.
  7. GST
Select GST value in preferences area. This will allow places like New Zealand to change the GST value to say 12.5%
  8. Daily Notes
Daily notes will be available all of the time in the daily planner area.

History of PAT
Pat was conceived in 2000. A Podiatrist in Queensland asked CTD to write a database program for Patient History and Invoicing. In 2007 another podiatrist found out about the earlier version and asked if it were possible to update the original version and add many new parts to it. So came Pat 9.5.
